Toast Bread

This was posted by Dingo Food on Facebook. It's a garlic bread toasted sandwich. The recipe below has been modified a little from the one they posted. I suggest adding sauce to prevent it being too dry. You could also change the cheese to any kind you prefer (I used brie in place of mozzarella). You may want to prepare the bacon in the oven before starting by partially cooking it. I don't see why you couldn't add spices and peppers to taste or change/add meats. Be careful not to burn the garlic butter/paste. It can burn really quickly

Nearly each year, after Christmas, my local shops have loads of Christmas products at reduced prices. Obviously this includes mincemeat at 24p a jar! (Can't resist such a bargain!)So I've started looking for ways to use it, particularly as a substitute for recipes that call for mixed dried fruit, dried peel and mixed spices...
