Overall it was a tasty dish. However, I think if you follow this step for creating your alfredo sauce then my recommendation would be creating a batch of alfredo sauce. Pour in the cream then adding parmesan might not result in "good" alfredo sauce. The sauce becomes cream with bits of parmesan cheese in it. Prepare your alfredo sauce ahead of time for a really delicious treat.

For your pasta choice, I would recommend a penne, rigatoni, or bowtie. You could add a vegetable such as peas or broccoli (my personal preference).
