May I ask if you used grated wasabi or wasabi paste? I used the latter and it was strong... but no problem, it was still ok as it went well with curry and rice.

I prefer grated wasabi but I used paste when I took this photo. Maybe I am not very sensitive to wasabi and I tend to add more. My husband and grown-up children don't want to eat this salad.
