I get from Crawford Market.. Mumbai..where all dryfruits are available.
But you may get in food Malls...like DMart.
As you are from Coimbatore.. search on Google..shops selling dryfruits.

Mam, actually I think banana is a tropical item. Hazelnuts will be second options to dates.

Sneha Ji..yes banana is tropical fruit. Not necessarily hazelnuts to be second option. Because the dates have sweetness and different texture. While hazelnuts is a nut..like walnuts.
Banana and dates combination also good.
You can replace hazelnuts with walnuts.
