We have a prolific peach tree, so this was a great way to use some. I protected the peaches from Figeater Beetles with gauze drawstring bags this year... between the nectarine tree and the peach tree, I bagged 500 pieces of fruit. And those were just the ones I could reach! Probably 300 peaches were protected, plus the ones that fell from the tree or I picked naked from the tree. (The peaches were naked, I mean. lol) We have given them away to neighbors and a food bank and I have made pies, pastries, barbecue sauce, syrup, waffles, and now wings. Any other suggestions for using these babies would be appreciated, as I probably have 30 on the counter and another 30 in the fridge. 🍑 🍑 🍑
