Waffles

Used all my cinnamon earlier so I used pumpkin pie spice and was still great. Told my husband I changed it due to the holiday.

So confused on the units....grams for dry...ml for wet. Also anyone use cups and tea spoons etc...?

Fluffy and delicious. I left out the cinnamon for an allergy but they were still great. Going straight to the cookbook.

I made these for my wife for her birthday breakfast. They were a hit! She said that they may have been the best waffles she's had.
We didn't have any olive oil in the pantry so I used vegetable oil instead. Still turned out great.
Thank You!

It's delicious, crunchy outside and soft inside. I'll never use pancake mix anymore. I put some chocolate chips, sausages and raisins, yum :hungry

Have been looking for a quick, easy, yummy waffle recipe for a while and I think I have found it. Roll on Saturday and waffles for breakfast :-)

Perfect waffles! I'm used to a thicker batter so when i saw how runny this was I was a tad skeptical, but perfect! A little doughy on the inside and crisp on the outside (if you don't like doughy insides only takes a minute or two longer)

I made a 1/2 batch and increased the vanilla to 1/2 Tbl and kept the cinnamon at 1/4 tsp. My boyfriend loves it ....says "another winner"!

Thank you for the recipe ! It was a great fun making the waffles but unfortunately they didn't turn out for my taste. Going exactly by directions, the taste of cinnamon was overpowering and did not fit well with the thick consistency of the waffle. If you are a fan of heavy waffles and cinnamon this recipe would be perfect. I'm going to go back to the light, fluffy buttery milky mass that melts in mouth. Cook on! :chef

I love waffles with Canadian maple syrup and lashings of whipped cream on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder on mine.

used this recipe on a George Foreman with the waffle attachment. 4 min on 425. came out a little under done but still tasted good. excellent recipe

Awesome waffles! Used soymilk and dairy-free margerine and these are the best waffles ive ever made!

Quite tasty but a little too heavy for me. Recipe was more of a pancake recipe. I will look for one (that I couldn't find this morning) that had whipped egg whites folded in. takes more time but I haven't found another that makes them light and airy. like I said this one is tasty... like pancakes, but not my favourite waffle recipe.

I ended up making pancakes with this recipe after belatedly discovering my waffle maker was on the blitz.
For the record, this is a great pancake mix, too!

To make sure the waffle stays moist and not dried out, try adding a cup of yogurt. Makes great waffles.
violetwerewolf3 @cook_3950948
Like pinupdoll I half the recipe use 1-2 table spoons of Mexican Vanilla and about a teaspoon of cinnamon. I don't measure the cinnamon I just cover the top of my batter in a thin coat. I also use wheat flour. Comes out deliciously and makes 6 four inch waffles

These were amazing I got the itch to have waffles at 1am looked up this recipe and was amazed by the perfection. Made half the batter just didn't leave them in long enough even though my maker said they were done. Next time I will be more observant to make sure they are golden brown. Yummmmm A+

Whipping the egg whites and folding them in helps these stay crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. This is my famous favorite waffle recipe
