Super Moist Banana Bread

Baby15 @cook_2729360
Looks very yummy, I see the pecans on the bread but not in the recipe, what's up with that?

I have definitely made better. I feel this recipe lacks in flavor. Took over an hour to bake also.

This recipe sounds delicious I think the sour cream is the key! I will definitely give it a try.

I took Mrs Rose advice and added chocolate chips and it was delicious!! :ohyeaah

Bread was moist and delicious! I added chocolate chips to the batter before baking. Hubby ate half the bread already. Will make this again for sure! Makes enough for 3 bread pans. :chef

can the eggs be replaced by something else... vegetarian problem.. :-(

The moistest nanner bread! We don't care for a lot of spice to our bread, so this was fabulous! Thanks so much! :-)

Delicious. My husband was totally squicked out by the soup cream and bananas, but then he ate the whole loaf! I barely got a bite and nowhere begs me to make it all the time. :)
browneyes29526 @cook_3147786
I used wheat flour because I didn't have white and it was still amazing and so moist. I will be making this a lot :-)

Moistest Cake Ever!!!
I cut the recipe in half and made muffins. It's not just the moistest banana bread/muffins but the moistest thing I've ever baked. Love it

Excellent!!!!! ive never made banana bread from scratch and the recipe turned out great very very moist! this is hard to accomplish in the very dry climate i live in i also live at a high altitude and i didnt have any problems and i made no changes! this is the best bread i will for sure make again it was a huge hit with my family ty :0)

melissa.lanini @cook_3617741
Tastes good! I used cream cheese instead of sour cream because I was out of sour cream. It turned out great. Didn't even get it out of the pan before everyone started eating it.

mrodgers0619 @cook_3657818
There seems to be a vital characteristic to moist banana bread. This one has sour cream, mine uses 4oz of cream cheese and others uses plain yogurt. All in all, they make moist bread without the dry bread taste nor to sweet. Good job!

mwilcox2004 @cook_3668197
This is my families favorite recipe for banana nut bread. I had added another one on here and made it a couple weeks later after I made this one. I knew after I started making it bc it didnt call for sour cream. My family was very disappointed! I made sure to add this one to prevent that mistake again. Thank you for sharing! :-)
kconge @cook_3486568
delish! I added some crumb type topping before I baked it; brown sugar, sugar, flour, oatmeal, butter... crumbly, yum!!!

nona.farmernixon @cook_3698616
I added a Tsp. Of almond extract on top of the tsp. Of vanilla extract. I used applesauce instead of sour cream. Delicious.

renee.cj2 @cook_3765079
Could not wait to cut it. It was beautiful and delicious. I will add a light glaze next time. Will make again. ~O)great with coffee!
sbeniz @cook_3812212

Amazingly easy! Very moist! Doubled the vanilla and nuts but that's just because I like it that way.
