Hi Yui. As I’ve no fresh rosemary at present, would a little dried rosemary work ok? I was thinking of making it in a small tea pot with built-in strainer. John

Hi John, yes dry rosemary in a small tea pot with strain will work well as well but if you have fresh oregano but the aroma will not be as fresh and punchy as the fresh one, you can use that instead too. 😊 🌿

Thanks. I’ll try it once I get tomorrow’s greengroceries delivery. BTW the prices of that wholesaler from East Hanningfield that I’m using are very good. Often significantly cheaper than the farm shop at Samson and delivery’s free.

That’s very kind of you, Yui, and nice to keep in mind. We are both keeping well so far and no more bored than anyone else. Given that we used to go abroad “exploring” every month or few, it’s been a strange 10 months. We’re both due to be helping at an exhibition in the Austrian mountains in June but can’t see that happening.I’ll be interested to see if I get a new “shielding” letter but we’re not really going out other than for a daily Boriswalk and medical appointments. Home delivery has taught us the benefits of menu planning, albeit not taking it too seriously. I love spontaneous “Use-up” cooking, which frequently disrupts our original meal plan 😂.Best wishes,John

Haha I love you call it ‘boris walk’ it’s getting harder to go for a walk when It’s cold and wet but I will try to get out once a day. I hope you and your wife get the vaccine soon my parents in law both are in their 70s and should be the next group to get protected 💉 .I love your used up recipes John!! It give me and I believe many people some great ideas to remake the delicious dishes with the leftover 😊
