Perhaps your oven’s heat is higher than mine? Maybe next time try to reduce the cooking time, or precook in the oven for 10 minutes and then turn to grill (while watching the wings here and there) until they get ‘chargrilled’. I hope this helps dear!

Thank you for your tips😊 I normally bake them but this time used the grill and you are correct is is very powerful!

Yeah, when I first got the oven, I would be very careful to use the grill option. After a few years and plenty of grilling (😂) its gotten its fair share of uses. So yeah, Next time bake to cook the wings through and then grill for the colour (cause, I just love that grill/smokey taste 🤤). Please share pics next time you try it!
