If you don't have olive oil use sunflower/ canola oil ...sesame oil would also work out ...but olive oil is best.

Yes you can try ...instead of sesame seeds , try with roasted peanut ....recently I made with walnut and it was yummy ...i have posted the recipe....Spicy Walnut hummus.
