Upside down Caramel Banana Cake
clara smith @cook_3201962
I just made this and the taste is absolutely wonderful. My only dislike was the texture of the bananas. To describe them - it's like taking a dried banana and rehydrating them.
I will make again and either cut the bananas thicker or add after the cake is cooked by cooking in butter and brown sugar on the stove and adding on top of cake.

not too hard to make, and delish! doesn't hold up well if not eaten within 2-3 days, although made this on vacation & didn't have my good cake storage container which was likely why :detective

this is a good recipe. been using it for years. we call it a Bananas Foster cake(we add a little rum and pecans). with a bit of ingenuity it can be done in the microwave in about 9 minutes!
