Hi,
I have tried a similar one at Chinese Take-away and loved it. But I did not know there is Chinese salt n pepper seasoning to make it home. Which brand and where can I get "Chinese salt n pepper seasoning"? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

4 tablespoons sea salt1 star anise2 tablespoons sugar1 1/2 tablespoons msg1 tablespoon Chinese 5-spice1 teaspoon ginger powder1/2 teaspoon mild chilli powder1 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 tsp chilli flakes if you want it more spicyMethodHeat a dry wok over a medium heat. Add the sea salt and star anise and stir-fry for around 10 minutes until the salt changes colour and becomes darker. Be careful not to touch the hot salt, it will get VERY hot. Carefully empty the toasted salt into a heat-proof bowl and set aside for 20 minutes or until the salt has cooled completely. To the bowl of toasted salt, add the sugar, msg, Chinese 5-spice, ginger powder, chilli powder and white pepper. Mix well, transfer the mix to a shaker and store at room temperature until needed.

You can buy it ready done from Butcher shops of chinese supermarkets in a tub. Or type in chinese salt n pepper chilli seasoning on Amazon and you can buy it ready done.
But when using it on chips, chicken or pork you only need to use a 1/2 tsp with 1 tbls diced onions and a pinch of chilli flakes, as its strong when the meat is cooked then add the mix to a frying pan and coat the meat all over fry for just 1 minute. Done same for chips cook them first then add them to a pan and sprinkle over the mix. 😃🥰🥰
