My parents and I owned the real Mom's Knishes in New York. Let me assure you if you want a real knish it's not made with instant potatoes or pretend dough. So many people wanted the recipe and tried to copy our brand.

Something else my mother taught me is if you don't have anything nice to say...I post my recipes for my own use only so I have easy access to them when I am food shopping. I would prefer to keep them private but this app no longer allows it. Before you criticize my mother's recipe, you should try it. She was an excellent cook and after 40 years of making everything from scratch just like my Russian great grandmother did, we discovered that these were even fluffier and less dense than the knishes you get in New York.
