Flavor was good texture was meh. didn't like the crunchy parts from the stuffing. My picky family did not like it and the dog got 4 patties.

Sooo yummy!! I used beef stock instead of water and made gravy and poured it over the meat, but the steaks had so much flavor by themselves. :-)

I used 3 lbs of lean ground beef I have a crowd to feed lol one packet of dry onion soup mix and one box of herb stove top stuffing and 1 1/2 cups of water with some beef bouillon added to it and made them into patties and poured beef gravy on top and baked till done then I added additional gravy to the Patties and searved them with carrots and green beans with mashed potatoes and gravy They tasted really good and everyone really liked dinner. :hungry :ohyeaah

I made this country Salisbury steak last night for my wife and I for dinner. I should admit that I was unsure how it was going to be but was anxious to try it. We were both pleasantly surprised. This recipe has a great flavor, is simple to make, and with a simple gravy made from a broth or the juices is even expanded to a greater level of wonder than it already was. If I was to add anything to it, it would be a bit of salt but that is a personal choice of course so make that choice for yourself. In any event, I recommend this dish.

My family really liked it. Especially my 5 year old she had seconds. I used beef broth instead of water and added a little extra. When it was almost done I added a gravy over the patties and let them finish cooking. :-) [ok]
