Unlike regular chocolate, you don't need to bain-marie chocolate candy bars.
So just directly put the Mars Bars in a pot/pan on the flame.

Thank you but the reason we do it this way is to prevent the chocolate catching on the bottom of the pan which can n happen if you take your eye of it for a moment. This way we know it can't burn.

If you keep a close eye on it and keep stirring it should be fine in a pan but my children love making these too
