Have you ever made it? I used to hate it as a child but once I tried homemade it changes my thoughts on it entirely and think it knocks socks off the likes of Branston and HP with a Ploughman’s.

No, Laura, I’ve not tried making it myself - yet. I do seem to accumulate various jars from farmer’s markets and artisan-y shops over the year. There certainly are many different takes on the product 🤣

@EmmaJaneR introduced me to picalilli last year and since then it's become one of my favourite ingredients that I always have in the fridge. I need to try making it at home next time! Thanks @FeelBetter for sharing your way of making it 😊

@FeelBetter sadly there is no variation with a St Helena slant on the classic Picalilli....I wish there was!! We are more into pickled beetroot and chilli on the island. I will deffo have to try your take on it,
