I used the easy option of Shop bought stock cube's - Vegetable Stock Cubes - the best method is too make a homemade Vegetable Stock and use that water instead of plain cold water . No need to use Stock Cubes if you have made your own homemade Vegetable Stock

The fatty Suet of the Dumplings made the Stew very greasy and so a good tip might be too cook the raw Dumplings in a large Cauldron Saucepan of boiling water until the flour is cooked through on the Dumplings - probably would require 20 minutes and then add too the Stew

The last of the leftover Stew was nice too eat - the cold cooked Lamb near the bone was not as well done as the outer meat - carved the last of the cooked Lamb off and added it too the last little bit of Stew - added a little bit extra of cold water and then brought to the boil for 5 minutes and then placed the Casserole Lid on and then gently simmered on the hob for 10 minutes
