Don't toss that packet. I use the beef packet in 1 cup hot water as a substitute for beef broth when making sauce for Swedish meatballs and the shrimp packet when fermenting kimchi.

How much (tsp./tbl.) of the rice wine vinegar, garlic chili sauce and toasted sesame oil do you use? Also, do you shut the heat off the stove when adding the egg or is the heat still on a low simmer? Thank you.

Sorry, I didn't see that the egg had to be cooked on medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, (my daughter first read me the information). So you can disregard that second question. Thank you.

Lastly, when you say garlic chili sauce, (since I cannot find that) do you mean garlic chili oil or chili crisp oil bc they're the only closest types I can find. The only sauce I can find is labeled sweet chili sauce. Thank you.
