Hello Shane,I meant chopped tomatoes, And you put into a blender, make purée, broth is not necessary ,is not in the list, you can use water instead. Thanks for remind me I will correct it.

you are right, traditional dishes are well known , cigar Börek, dolma , manti, etc. if you go to my village they don't know how to cook Brussels sprouts because it doesn't grow there. They didn't see it before, but when you go northern or southern Turkey you will see variation of Brussels sprouts dishes .my mom makes salad after she steams it, little bit of lemon juice and virgin oil with salt. But my friend's mom makes a complete meal as you read the recipe in here.that I didn't see it before either. Each region in Turkey has different and unique dishes , so be ready for surprises.
