I really don't know if I have ever tasted Bracken starch ones. The ones I bought from stores were actually not much better. It's a matter of texture. But I can say 'Kuzu Mochi' made with real 'Kuzu' starch has a superior texture.

I can imagine the taste well, now that I have tried your milk mochi. I would say I probably prefer the milk one more too. Creamier taste. Now that I know how to make this I am wanting to make it every day for dessert haha 😂 it’s so quick and easy, and tastes delicious.
