Thank you. I love this dish! Have you tried making it with ukrainian heavy sour cream, called smetana? It is in a class by itself.

I used a really heavy and thick Greek yoghurt as I just happened to have it hence the sauce reducing to nothing but it was really juicy inside as the cabbage held lots of moisture. I think cooking it in an earthenware pot helped. I’ll have look for smetana, thanks.
