I am not sure. My grandma used to make gunda where she put them in what she used to call salted mango water. They were my fav but I lost the recipe. :(

Hi first wipe gunda n raw khatta mango with dry cloth. Make 4 Cut from upper side of mango.
Now make a mixture of turmeric powder whole salt n castor oil.
Take aglass jar apply castor oilwith brush.
Spread mixture ofsalt add gunda n mango again add salt mixture close tightly n cover with cloth. See after 2-3days toss again leave it for 1week n check again toss. U will get ready after 1month
500 gm mango n gunda 1tsp turmeric powder 100 gm saltor 1cup n 2tsp castor oil ratio is this Now u can adjust according to ur gunda n mango
