This was absolutely fantastic! I made it last year when my wife and daughter left for several weeks because I didn't want to cook a bunch of meals. This lasted me like six days, and by the end, I was still not sick of it. I'll be repeating the experience in a few weeks when they leave again.

I'd have made it again for my wife who I know would love it, but I have yet to find glutin free Tortellini… At least not in Canada.

Making this for the third year in a row. This time I double the recipe. I will be eating well for a very long time.

I almost didn’t bother putting another comment because I noticed I’ve already done a couple of them. But it’s time for my annual cooking of this recipe. Not going to double it this time, but I’m still gonna enjoy the heck out of it for a few days. Definitely one of the highlights of my wife and daughters annual trip.

I really do. As a little aside, though, have you ever tried freezing it? If so, does it freeze all right? Just in case.

I’ve never tried. It seems like something that would freeze well, though.

OK. No problem. :-) It probably would.

Turns out when someone tells you "1lb Italian sausage" and you just do up FIVE of them, that is NOT 1lb. That's your lack of following a recipe telling you you're making a double batch after all. ... oops. ... Last one this year, I promise.
