Good evening God of Thunder. Thanks for your interest. Yes I find it fun travelling to new places and finding out where foods originate from. Off to Jersey, a British Crown Dependency, tomorrow so looking forward to finding out about black butter (which isn’t butter apparently) and trying ice cream made from Jersey 🐄s milk/cream if it’s warm enough!

🫡. I will. If I can bring a jar back I will. My favourite black ingredient ever is Icelandic lava salt. It’s lush, the best salt ever to use on poached eggs! I treat it like gold dust. Speaking of which, in Scotland I think pikelets are called crumpets. I bet your wife would love these with poached eggs and Scottish square sausage or 🥓 😜.
