So good! All I did different was double the dry ingredients! And it simmered for about 40 mins, to cook the chicken all the way through.. everyone loved it!

they were browned before I added the mixture, so I would say about 75% cooked at that time. If you wait too long to add and then simmer, your chicken may be dry. I hope it goes well!

I just cooked this for my husband and I and it came out AMAZING! 😱 I’ve never been able to cook mushroom chicken since I am super inexperienced in the kitchen and this was so easy and SO GOOD! This is my first dish I’ve made that has actually come out edible (we are newlyweds and I have had many dinner fails). Definitely keeping this recipe in my back pocket now 😊

Sorry foe the delayed response. I got a new phone and hadn’t reinstalled the app. I think that would be fine. I would start with less milk and add more if needed as almond milk may be more thin than whole milk.

I used water tonight. It still turned out good. I used a little less that a full can of water.
