That’s a coincidence, Sonia, as my meal planning includes making something in the same vein tomorrow. I’m intending to make what I suppose is a shallot “non-tatin” (coz I’m doing it in tatin style but using shortcrust pastry). Bit of an experiment but I thought of it earlier in the week and ordered the shallots in yesterday’s fruit and vegetables delivery. John
