Sabudaana Khichdi

Soak the sabudaana overnight.

Now, rinse the sabudana thoroughly to get rid of the starch.

Now put the rinsed sabudaana in a bowl and pour 1 cup water.

Add drained sabudaana along with salt. Stir it well.

Now though the sabudana would have soaked the water, you still drain it with colander just to get rid of any starch.

Now heat oil in a pan, and then add cumin seeds and green chilli in it. Once the get roasted add chopped tomatoes on it and cook it well.

Add chopped potatoes, and cook for 4-5 minutes until it get cooked properly.

Cook it until the sabudana turns softer and translucent.

Now turn the flame off and pour 1 spoon of lemon juice on it. And mix it.

Your sabudana khichdi is ready.Serve it hot with chilled lauki ka raita.
