How to make cucumber roll at your home

Cucumber rolls are great and can be easily customized to your liking. My favorite way though is with crab and salmon

This is a simple recipe from my childhood. My stepfather always made this growing up. We ate this as a side dish, as an appetizer, at cookouts,...even as a topper for other foods! He usually only did "Cucumbers & Tomatoes in Italian Dressing" but when I started making it myself in my late 20s I started adding onion because I'm obsessed with them! 😆👌 Then, in my early 30s a good friend made this at her home with the addition of green peppers as she had grown a lot of them that year. So now, my personal recipe has adapted to the inclusion of all of these wonderful foods! I also, play around occasionally with the dressing. 😎👍 This particular time I used a raspberry vinaigrette in place of Italian Dressing & I have also used regular vinaigrettes as well. This is always a nice addition to dinner or the cookout. And even as a midday snack! 👏🤤

The product called "Kaoribako" tastes and feels like a real crab meat.I wanted to make a gorgeous rolled sushi.Add the day before calendrical day was close so I put the way to wrap it in the recipe too.I wish many more people will find the rolling fun.You can make it nicer when you roll it without hesitating. I used good quality crab sticks which looked like real crab meat. I used the crab sticks as filling and surface decoration as well so that you can enjoy the crab flavour and texture.-Use less water to make the rice firmer than usual.-Do not use too much filling as you will have difficulty when you roll up the sushi.-Line the makisu mat with cling film beforehand so that the rice won't stick to it.-It is easier to slice the sushi using a moistened knife. My mother used to make a similar recipe when I was younger. I was never able to get the recipe from her so this is the best recreation of it.

My mother-in-law showed me this way to eat chikuwa.The hole in the chikuwa is large, so be sure to cut the cucumbers to an appropriate size. Even if the crab meat may appear slightly loose, as long as the cucumber is snugly packed, they should turn out fine. Recipe by Kazapi-

If you use an empty egg carton as a "mold" for your rice, it's surprisingly simple to make everything the same size!Please thoroughly wash the egg carton before use. You should use enough sushi rice to fill up to the top of the bottom layer of the carton. I think that's the ideal amount. My friend made these for me once and I wanted to try making a macrobiotic version.Place the umeboshi on top of the side of the cucumber with the skin. If the umeboshi comes into contact with the moist cucumber flesh, it will become too wet.
