Wash and soak the rice for half an hour.

Now heat a cooker put ghee, cinnamon sticks, cumin, cardamom bay leaves and clove saute for few seconds than add chopped green chilli, ginger garlic paste and onions.

Saute them till pinkis in colour then add all dry spices and boiled black gram, mix well.

Add soaked rice and saute them for 5-6 min than add two cups of water and close the lid take 2 whistle.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with Tanya.
