Ingredients

  • 500 gmSpinach (palak) chop
  • 200 gmBeetroot (Chuqandar)
  • 2-3Tomatoes
  • 1 TbspRed chilli powder
  • 1Onion sliced
  • 1/4 CupOil
  • 1 TbspGinger Garlic paste
  • 1/2 TspHaldi
  • 1 TspSalt
  • 1/2 TspGaram Masala
  • 2-3Green Cillies
  • Ginger julians to garnish

Steps

    Wash and chop palak. Peel and chop beetroot in bite size pieces.heat oil in a pot. Add sliced onion.saute to pink.add ginger garlic paste and saute minute or two. Add chop tomato, little water and cover. Let the tomatoes get soft.add chilli, salt, haldi. Fry masala till oil separates.

    Add chop chuqander mix well in masala. Add 1/2 cup water.cover the pot and cook on medium flame till chuqandr are tender. Add chop palak.mix both well. Cover the pot and leave on low heat. Palak will cooked in it's water and steam. When both are mix & tender add chop green chilli and cover the pot. Sprinkle garam masala before serving and top with ginger julians. Goes perfect with both chapati or rice.Enjoy with Cookpad.
