Old recipe created in my grandpa's kitchen

This is a scaled down version of my bread pudding recipe and different bread. I’m trying to fake my grandkids out and make them think it’s French toast. Little beggars are picky! But of course, Grammy will try anything.

I bought 500 g of sake lees as a souvenir and had to eat it everyday for a while.It's so easy, so I don't have any hints.Just mix the sake lees and olive oil at the beginning. Recipe by Mameiro

Sometimes you don't know what to do with bread crusts but this French toast is absolutely heavenly! I love this dish... even more than regular french toast!!The key is to macerate the bread over 10 minutes after mixing all ingredients to bring the bits of toast together.If you add a few drops of vanilla oil, it will turn into an excellent dessert!!
