First of all wash potatoes.Take a presser cooker and add potatoes in it.add water and cook it for 5 to 7 minutes.

Now remove it's skin and mash it with masher.now add salt, chilli powder,lemon juice,garam masala, sugar and add choppedcoriander leaves.make small balls from it

Now in another bowl take gram flour and add salt,pinch of backing soda and add water in it. prepare thick batter.

Now add potatoes balls in batter.coat potato balls with batter.now deep fry it in hot oil.fry it on both side. remove potato vada with slotted spoon.

Serve with green chutney or tomato catch up
