Cut the gourds, onion, the. take a cooker, add all the ingredients (except sugar) and cover the lid. Let it cook on medium flame till it becomes mashy.

When it gives one whistle lower down the flame and wait till it gives two more whistle.

After three whistles put the sabzi in the kadhai from the cooker and the and sugar, cook it for some more time.

When the water gets evaporated the sabzi is ready.
