Subway Style Bread

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add yeast and sugar into warm water and milk mixture and leave it for 5 to 7 minutes.
- 2
Mix plain flour, salt and mixed herbs in a bowl. Now add yeast mixture to it and start making a dough out of it. When everything comes together, add butter to it and knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic. Now cover the dough and leave it for 2 hours at room temperature or until double in size.
- 3
When the dough is double in size, take it out on a working place and knock out the air from it. Now divide it into 8 equal portions. Make long rolls of 6 to 7 inches out of it. Arrange all the rolls on a greased baking tray leaving some space. Cover and rest it for 30 minutes so that it will be double in size.
- 4
Brush the rolls with milk and bake it in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180 degree or until ready. When it is done, take it out from the oven and transfer it to a wire rack. Brush it with little butter and cover it with a cloth so that it will remain very soft.
- 5
Let it cool completely at room temperature and use it to make subway sandwiches.
