This is my own creation. I learned to cook noodles and rice separate when adding to soups so they don't absorb all the liquids and/or get mushy. ( Instant pot instructions in last step )

Ingredients

3-4 people
  1. 6boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  2. 4large carrots
  3. 4celery stalks
  4. 6 CupsChicken Broth
  5. 1 pkgLipton Onion Soup Mix
  6. 1 tablespoonLemon Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Add chicken thighs to the pot

    Chop and add carrots and celery

  3. 3

    Pour Lipton Soup package and Lemon Pepper in the pot.

  4. 4

    Pour in Chicken Broth

  5. 5

    Simmer pot until carrots are done. Chicken will be done by then.

    When soup is done, cook egg noodles in a separate pot according to package instructions.

    Do not add noodles to the soup pot.

    Serve by placing cooked noodles in bowl first. Then pour soup and vegetables over the noodles. This allows you to control the amount of liquid in each bowl. Some people like more, others like less.

    I cook the thighs, carrots, celery, seasonings, and broth in my instant pot. Pressure cook. High pressure, 15 minutes, quick release!
