Steps

Sweat onions and carrot in a pan then add the mince and brown it

Add the garlic, tomato purée and remaining ingredients apart from the stock and bring together

Cover with the stock and simmer for 40 minutes until reduced and thick

Meanwhile, boil the potatoes, mash them with butter and gradually add the milk, cheese and garlic, keep mashing until smooth and then season.

Spoon the potato on top of the meat, run across with a fork. Sprinkle with herbs and put in a preheated over @ 180c for 20-25 mins or until golden.
