Valentine cake
Steps
- 1
First in a mixing bowl add butter+oil then sieve powdered sugar and whisk or beat with electric beater until light, Creamy and pale in colour.
- 2
Next to add condensed milk and beat again for a min or two. (Meanwhile add vinegar in milk, stir and keep aside)
- 3
Now add curdled milk to the bowl and mix very well.add essence of your choice too.
- 4
Now sieve together flour, baking powder and baking soda and mix well with the help of whisk or with spatula by cut and fold method.
- 5
Pour the prepared batter into greased lined pan and bake in preheated microwave oven for 30-35 minutes on convection mode 180°.
- 6
After 30 mins check by inserting toothpick, if it comes out clean means cake is perfectly baked. Keep on a wire rack to cool completely. (Cover with damp cloth to maintain its moisture).
- 7
After cooling cut the cake into two parts using thread or knife.Place the first layer of cake on a cake board, Spread about 1 cup of frosting into an even layer on top of the cake.Add the second layer of cake on top of the frosting.
- 8
Add another cup of frosting on top of the cake and spread into an even layer. (I have used here red color with icing cream to get pinkish colour for upper layer of frosting) now decorate your cake as per your choice, I have used here some fresh rose petals, some edible heart shaped Waffers, colourful sugar balls and chocolate.
