I have some leftover birthday ice cream that I needed to use up before the next birthday and this is what I made I used what I had at home I got this recipe off of a taco brand website and made my own bowls. Something different. Kids loved it.

You can also use Nutella, cajeta, or dulce de leche as filling.

I wanted to recreate Baskin-Robbin's caramel ribbon ice cream. It came out very well!If you don't freeze the ice cream completely, the caramel will get blended into it and you don't get nice distinct caramel ribbon lines. I always make pudding when kabocha squash is in season. I usually make this pudding in the oven, but I wanted to try making it with gelatin to reduce the time and effort.If you will be pouring caramel sauce into the bottom of the cups, pour in the sauce while it's still hot and refrigerate the cups until well chilled. Then pour in the pudding. You can also pour caramel sauce over the pudding and eat it that way. Of course, it's delicious without caramel sauce. We had probably the best Piña Coladas either one of us had ever had while on our honeymoon in the Virgin Islands. Wanting to recreate what we consumed and not satisfied with the plain ole rum+crème de coconut+pineapple juice+ice recipe, I hunted around and made my own conglomeration of various recipes I found.My hubby says it still tastes more smoothie than slushy (but beware it does pack somewhat of a kick!), but definitely resembles the creamy concoction we got in the Caribbean!Let me know what you think!
