Steps

Wash Apricots and place them on any neat cloth.

Cut them and remove the pit.

Add sugar in Apricots, keep covered till all the sugar dissolves.

Take a heavy bottom pot and pour Apricot and sugar syrup.

Add lemon juice and cook on low to medium flame.

You can use potato masher to mash the fruit.

To check the consistency pour onto chilled plate, if it is firm then its ready or else cook for few more minutes.

15-20 minutes jam should stick to the spoon when lifted.

Pour into sterilised bottles in refrigerator.
