cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp
I was chosen as a recipe tester for Suntory brand's umeshu.
I wanted to come up with a recipe that would also go well with sake and while working well as a main dish.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Combine all the ★ ingredients.
- 2
Cut the vegetables and meat into bite-sized pieces. This time, I halved the vegetables before thinly slicing them.
- 3
In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil (not included) over medium heat. Add the meat and cook for a few minutes. When the meat is no longer pink, add the vegetables.
- 4
When the vegetables are cooked, add the combined ★ ingredients and toss to coat. Drizzle in the sesame oil and you're done.

Let's Make it Tasty! Easy Stir-Fried and Simmered Beef & Vegetables
I don't like vegetables soaked in soy sauce that are limp and wilted. If everything just tastes like soy sauce, the veggies will be so sad. I think they want to be nice and crispy still, right? Can you see that the lotus root is still white inside? If you parboil the root veggies beforehand and just stir fry and flavor things rapidly, the veggies retain their natural flavor with the added flavors on the surface. This is done in no time! Stir Fried Vegetables
My husband likes stir fried vegetables, so I make them a lot.The reason I stir fry the meat at a low heat is to prevent it from splattering. You can just use high heat from the start. As I have stated previously, it's best to stop cooking the vegetables when you think they are still a bit raw - they are crispier that way.If you are adding wood ear mushrooms (kikurage), put in a container with water to cover and microwave until they're rehydrated. Any microwave setting is fine. Recipe by Tobundebuu

Easy & Refreshing Beef Stir-Fry
I wanted to make a recipe using domestic beef and a Sunshine Tomato from Iwaki in Fukushima prefecture to match with Japanese rice that we can be proud of. Something that was quick to cook and easy to eat and went well with rice, and so this recipe was born. The tender beef, the sweetness of the Japanese leek and the acidity of the tomatoes go well together, and really whets your appetite. It's beef so you just have to cook it briefly. The key to this dish is to use high heat throughout to stir fry everything. The tomato just has to be quickly stir-fried too.If you cook the leek for some time, it will become sweeter and more tasty. For 2 servings. Recipe by Satomiwa

Firecracker beef stir fry
Without a doubt, this is my favourite new dish. Not only is it a breeze to make, it also hits all the notes you want in a stir fry. Salty, spicy, sweet, beefy, and totally delicious. As written below, this stir fry will give you a nice amount of warm, chili heat. If you want more bang, simply add another teaspoonful of sambal. One thing you shouldn't forget, though, is plenty of steamed rice to serve alongside.
