Cooking Instructions

5-10 minutes
  1. 1

Chop the nuts roughly. Take about 1 tbsp Ghee and roast the nuts in it,till you get a nice aroma, be careful not to burn it. Do it on low flame. Let it cool and then take the date paste in a ghee applied plate and apply on your hands too so that it's easy to handle the date mixture. Add the nuts and mix it well with the the dates paste.

  2. 2

Divide it into two portions and make a log of both portion (You can make one log also, it's up to you.). Cling wrap it and keep dates and nuts logs in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours for the logs to form a bit before you slice it. Once firm, slice it with desired thickness and slice both the logs.
For easy storage and packaging, shrink wrap or cling wrap each piece individually.
Give it as a Diwali or Durga Puja gift to your friends and family.

  3. 3

    Note :
You can have it as Burfi or dip it in hot milk stir and have it as date milk with nuts.
