Colorful and Refreshing Red Onion Salad

I came up with this dish during my studies to become a junior vegetable sommelier.

This salad can get watery after some time, so try not to let it sit for too long.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1Red onion
  2. 1 canCanned tuna
  3. 2Green onions or scallions
  4. A
  5. 1/2lemon Lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
  6. 3 tbspMayonnaise
  7. 1 tbspMentsuyu
  8. 1/2 tspCoarsely ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the onion, cut into thin slices, and soak in water.

    After letting it soak, thoroughly drain the water and any excess moisture.

  3. 3

    Drain the oil from the canned tuna and combine the tuna with the onion.

    Combine the A ingredients. Add to the onion and tuna for flavor.

    Arrange on a dish. Top with finely chopped green onion to finish!
