I was inspired to make this refreshing drink after having a glass of mint lemonade at a local Middle Eastern restaurant. But I didn't have any lemons at home that day , just limes, apples, mint, and cucumber. So I experimented and came up with this sweet and tangy drink. The applesauce and lime (minus its peel) add to the smoothness of this beverage.

6-8ice cubes
1/2 cupwater
1/2apple with skin (honeycrisp, cosmic crisp etc)
1lime, no peel
1-2 tablespoonslemon juice

Cover and use smoothie or frozen drink setting. Blend until smooth and serve and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
