Chana Chaat (Chickpea Chaat)

Rinse the chickpeas and soak them for 5-6 hours. Boil them in a pressure cooker. Finely chop the onion and tomato.

Chop the ginger and green chilies. Grate the radish and a little ginger. Heat oil in a skillet and add asafoetida and cumin seeds.

Add the boiled chickpeas and sauté. Add the chopped onion and sauté. Add the tomato and sauté. Add the chopped ginger and green chilies.

Turn off the heat. Add all the spices and lemon juice, and mix well. Add the grated radish and ginger. Your healthy and tasty chana chaat is ready.
