I madeas a white chocolate mousse with Valentine's Day in mind . It's simple, but it is really delicious! This is my best recipe I really recommend it!

This solidifies quickly unlike other white chocolate mousse recipes I have uploaded, so you do not need to chill the mixture in Step 5. It will actually make things more difficult if it solidifies too much. It finishes faster in exchange . I completely over-whipped the heavy cream in the photo for Step 3. For about 8 servings. Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1sheet Chocolate bar (using black/dark chocolate)
  2. 20 grams★Cocoa powder
  3. 200 ml★Milk
  4. 40 grams★Sugar (using light brown sugar)
  5. 1 1/2 tsp★Instant coffee
  6. 1 tsp★Rum sake (or brandy)
  7. 5 gramsGelatin
  8. 2 tbspWater to soak the gelatin in
  9. 200 mlHeavy cream
  10. 10 gramsSugar (using light brown sugar)
  11. 1several drops Vanilla oil
  12. 10cookies Oreos
  13. 1Cocoa powder for the finishing touch

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Soak the gelatin in water. Break up the chocolate into approximate sizes. Add the ★ ingredients to a pot, and heat to the point just before it boils while mixing well to dissolve everything.

  2. 2

Add chocolate into the pot from Step 1 and completely melt. Add the soaked gelatin as well, and dissolve.

  3. 3

Add 10 g sugar and the vanilla oil to the heavy cream, and whip for 7~8 minutes. I whipped it a little too long in the photo...

  4. 4

Mix the mixture from Step 2 well while placing it in an ice bath to cool. It will start to thicken as you stir.

  5. 5

Add whipped heavy cream to Step 4, and mix until it is evenly distributed.

  6. 6

Crumble the Oreo cookies into varying sizes. I always smash them in a plastic bag.

  7. 7

Add the Oreos to Step 5 and mix in. The mousse mixture is complete. Pour into cups. If it hardens, it will become a bit creamy if you whisk it.

  8. 8

Chill in the fridge until it thoroughly solidifies. Sprinkle cocoa powder using a tea strainer once it solidifies, top with your favorite toppings, and it is done.

  9. 9

The coffee has a good subtle aftertaste . This is a fluffy mousse using rich chocolate! I can definitely recommend it for Valentine's Day.

  10. 10

    These are soo chocolate-y!

  11. 11

The Oreos also add a nice accent!
