Super fluffy and soft Japanese Souffle Pancakes are now easy to whip up and the best part is that these are done without any Baking powder. The Egg whites used in this make them super soft and extra fluffy. They just melt in our mouth. The air that is beaten into the Egg whites is what will lift the Pancake batter and makes them fluffy even without the Baking powder being used.

Not only are these done so very quickly, they are beautifully fluffy and luscious too. Spongy and melt in mouth to the last bite. Though it requires a little bit of patience and endurance, it still is the most loved one on my menu list especially for my family. The end results are just amazing. With all that hard work being put in, the final look is what matters the most and is definitely a wonderful treat. Your loved ones would just enjoy them with a broad smile. Afterall it's the only thing that matters to me and every such moment is a cherished one. This recipe yields 3 fluffy Souffle Pancakes. You can double or triple the recipe accordingly.

Steps

25-30 minutes
  1. 1

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks are formed. Keep it aside. The egg whites should be whipped up until stiff peaks are seen. This is essential for this recipe. Use an electric beater for this.

  2. 2

Mix in the rest of the ingredients to a smooth and a thick batter. Fold this batter in the egg whites very gently until the white streaks are invisible using the cut and fold method. It should be done very carefully. If you are new to it, do it only after watching a tutorial on it. Mix it with light hands and get ready for making pancakes straight away.

  3. 3

Heat a teaspoon of butter and pour a ladleful of the batter. Cover and cook on both the sides on a low heat. Be patient about that. Or it can be filled up in a piping bag and make them as usual. It can be less messy and would hold the shape. It's upto you to decide.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
