Simple and Budget-Friendly Soft Bread Rolls with All-Purpose Flour

Achieved 100 recipe reviews on July 7, 2008! You can easily bake soft and fluffy bread using only all-purpose flour. Freezes well too!
The story behind this recipe: With recent price increases, I was hesitant to use a lot of bread flour... I prefer my bread rolls soft, so I tried making them with only all-purpose flour (huge success!!). If you want to save even more, you can replace the egg with water!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put all the ingredients into a bread machine and let it complete the first rise. *Of course, hand-kneading is also fine!
- 2
Divide the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 3
Roll the dough into a rectangle, then roll it up from the far end towards you.
- 4
Let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
- 5
Once risen, bake in a preheated oven at 340°F (170°C) for 15 minutes. Done!
