@cook_112236741 the taste changes depending on the maturity of the fruit. Ripe or overripe breadfruit tastes sweet with soft texture and it should be cooked differently. the one here is still green and that's great for fritters and even chips. this one tastes like potatoes, it's starchy and can be used in both savory and sweet dish. Found this one the other day at Asian Grocery (Hong Kong market). breadfruit can be prepared in many ways too! we bought only one green small breadfruit for fritters. It's not always available too. it was great surprise to see they had it in store. hope this helps! 😊
