Ingredients

  • 1 kgmelon (the flesh)
  • 1/2 kgjam sugar
  • 2 tsplemon juice
  • 1 tspvanilla

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the melon into cubes.

  2. 2

    Place it in the pot with the sugar and boil over strong heat.

  3. 3

    Take care so that it doesn't stick, stirring it from time to time with a wooden spoon.

  4. 4

    An hour later or when the jam starts to set, turn down the heat so that it doesn't burn and stir more often.

  5. 5

    Add the lemon juice.

  6. 6

    Do the trick with the plate and when it is ready, add the vanilla.

  7. 7

    Ready!
