Ingredients

  • 10-Minute Dough
  • Beehive Bread Filling:
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 1bell pepper
  • 1onion
  • 1 cupblack olives
  • Pinchoregano
  • Pinchgarlic powder
  • 2 tablespoonstomato paste
  • Baalbek-Style Filling:
  • 1 lbground lamb (about 0.5 kg)
  • 2medium onions
  • 1medium tomato, seeds removed
  • 1small bell pepper
  • Fresh mint
  • Basil
  • Marjoram
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoonstahini
  • 1 tablespoonpomegranate molasses
  • Salt
  • Cheese Rolls Filling:
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Akawi cheese
  • Pinchdried mint

Steps

    To make the beehive bread with vegetables and cheese: Fill the dough with the cheese, bell pepper, black olives, and finely chopped onion. Add a pinch of oregano, tomato paste, and a pinch of garlic powder.

    Shape the filled dough into balls and arrange them in a baking dish. Let them rise for 20 minutes, then bake at 400°F (200°C) until golden and cooked through.

    Fill and bake at 400°F (200°C) until done.

    To make the Baalbek-style pastries: Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Fill with the lamb, bell pepper, onion, and tomato. Add mint, basil, marjoram, salt, pomegranate molasses, tahini, and black pepper. Mix well.

  5. 5

    To make the cheese rolls: Mix the cheeses and add a pinch of dried mint. Arrange in a baking dish and bake until golden brown. Enjoy!
